I am a planner. I am also a visual person. So, I really wanted to create 3D models of the inside and outside of the cabin. After experimenting with several apps, I found Planner 5D to be the best all-around 3D modeling app for interiors and SketchUp to be best for exterior modeling. So, as of today (09-21-21), this is how I envision the cabin looking. This is before our first budget meeting, our first design meeting, the site evaluation and the pre-build appraisal. I wonder how the final plans will look and what changes we will make along the way. I look forward to reviewing this post down the road and seeing the progression and evolution of the project.
